As a digital designer based in Copenhagen, I have acquired more than 9 years of experience working both as an integral part of teams, and as a freelancer, for the advertising industry, at digital agencies and the financial sector.
Broad insight into planning, implementation and execution has led to successful product launches and projects across platforms and media.
With a PBA in Interactive Design from DMJX (Denmark’s College of Media and Journalism), plus a degree in Multimedia Design from KEA (Copenhagen School of Design and Technology), I am well-equipped, with 5 years of higher education, to tackle even the most complex visual communication challenges.
My passion for digital design orbits visual identity design, branding, layout, typography, illustration, and animation / motion graphics, which together, creates effective digital design that inspire users to immerse themselves in the product.
My ability to grasp complex design problems and home in on the core challenge allows me to keep track of milestones and deadlines, so every project arrives securely at the goal – whether the final product is an app or a web-based platform.
When working as a team, reliability is key to successful collaboration. I believe a team works best when everyone is dedicated to contributing to the teams activities and decisions. I value flexibility and I always pitch in and help my colleagues when needed, and when required I will gladly step into the role of initiator.
At Saxo Bank I worked on the redesigned of the international front page of the companys website. Through the production of an interactive platform animation and section animations, a more engaging front page for investors was created. The animations eliminated the need for versioning across languages, reducing maintenance and improving scalability.
In a team of three, we rehauled the entire interface of the IDA – Hello Fellow app, creating a user-centered experience which is easier for students to engage with. Through simple design patterns, we cut the number of components by more than half, improving scalability and future proofing the platform while reducing maintenance.
With Molamil I worked on the redesigned of the learning platform Quantum Rascals of the University of Southern Denmark. Through the use of engaging mini-games and thrilling animations, we accomplished getting kids excited about learning physics, winning over a challenging target audience and improving core functionality of the platform.
